Lucky girl! My baby was in a -1 position, 70-80% effaced and 1 cm dilated from 36 weeks until I delivered at 40 weeks. Having a bowling ball lodged in your pelvis is no bueno.
As everyone has continued to remind me, just because I’m passing plugs and stuff doesn’t really mean anything is certain. As my midwife was so kind to put it into perspective to me, “You could still be sitting here with the baby inside of you 5 weeks from now.” (Seriously almost came across the table at her. If I’d been wearing pants instead of a sheet the size of a napkin, I probably would have. 5 WEEKS?! I don’t think so, lady.) It would be awesome if she’s out by the end of the week. I’m not putting money on it, though. *sigh*
