Question for moms who use formula:
Brielle has been on Enfamil Gentlease for two weeks now, but she still has issues with gas. Sometimes when she toots, she screams. Gentlease is supposed to be for fussiness and gas. Is there a reason for this not working, like, should she be on something else?
I think to an extent, some gas (even painful gas) is pretty normal. You might want to try mylicon/simethicone drops or gripe water to help with the gas. I would watch more for problems with her bowel movements or spitting up before switching formulas, though.

woah, take a freakin chill pill! its just uncomfortable to see women whip out their boobs and just feed their babes.. i understand kids need to eat but i just dont see why you must in public.. what bothers me is when people post pics of it on fb, its just uncomfortable and maybe if people covered themselves better while doing it, it wouldnt be as awkward.. you can pump and store milk and i feel if your going to breast feed you need to get a pump just in case! im not trying to ick a fight so chill the fuck out bro!
However, women do not whip it out for people to see it, stare or whatever. If you look and feel uncomfortable, that is on you. Just don’t look. :D
How I feel about other people’s “discomfort” at the slightest glimpse of a bare breast when I’ve got a hungry, screaming baby in my arms and painfully engorged boobs (things that are actually uncomfortable):

We tried to put sugar water on a paci to see if Isla would take it.
She loved the sugar water. Still not so much a fan of the paci.
Oh, well.
I’m not going to lie.
I don’t think breastfeeding in public is really that necessary.
I’m not going to lie.
I don’t think people making a big thing of breastfeeding is really that necessary.
I don’t think running to the bathroom with a screaming baby every time it gets hungry (every 1.5-2 hours, at least) so that I don’t offend immature people is really that necessary.
I don’t think having to do two 40-minute pumping sessions so I can make a bottle any time I want to leave the house is really that necessary.
I don’t think commenting on something you’ve never done before, and therefore aren’t really in a position to know whether it’s necessary or not, is really that necessary.
I don’t think the original post is really that necessary.
I think it’s sad that justifying feeding your baby anywhere is really that necessary.
